moving right along...

When you are averaging 2 moves per year, you learn to let go. As in, let go of your death grip on your second roll of bubble wrap at Home Depot because you know there is no amount more of packing and padding that will 100% guarantee that your delicate white tea set will make it safely across the country. Let go of the hope for a cut and dry answer to whether or not you'll like your new location more than your current. Let go of the fear of change, because the only things in life that you regret are the risks you didn't take. [yes, i did just quote Grumpy Old Men].

And then you hang on. You hang on tight to the hand and heart of the one you love as you pull out of your now former home and embark on another great adventure. Hang onto the awesome memories and phone numbers of friends that you'll always be in touch with despite the time difference and number of states and airport terminals between you. Hang onto your Colorado season ski pass because you know you'll be back next season...at least once! And you hang onto the hope, faith and love that comes with any big move or change, knowing that that will guide you in your new adventure, set any windy paths straight and bring you always home.

So. That in mind. WE ARE MOVING!!!! In just a few weeks, Mike and I and our five furry friends embark on new grand and great adventures. Updates in business and life in store. We cannot wait!!! I will so greatly miss all of my awesome clients here in Colorado. Thank you all for such fun times and amazing takes. Immensely looking forward to the big days and smiles yet to capture back here this summer. Continue to stay tuned and spread the word!

...and because no post is complete without one last image.

wedded bliss :: rachel and michael

spread the love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier.
:: Mother Teresa ::

Michael and Rachel and their joyous bunch of family and friends did just that two weeks ago. It was the perfect day. 75 and sunny. Sunlight pouring into their cozy yet simple sanctuary. The most calm and caring groom I've ever seen. A bride bursting with happiness and a smile in her eyes you could catch from a mile away. And a celebration that made you want to do the wobble and ymca for at least another hour after it was over.

I came to Rachel and Michael's big day with at least 10 empty memory cards, and left with full files of happiness. Here are some of my faves. Enjoy. xo.
